Roger Shutt - Professional Golf Instructor
“My career started at Sandiway Golf Club, first as the Assistant Professional and then as Club Professional in 1978. In 1982 I was appointed a Cheshire County Team Coach.
I have been professionally coaching golf since 1974, from Beginners to Winners. I was trained to Coach by the highly respected #1 Golf Coach Tommy Gardner in the North West.
During that time I competed regionally and briefly on the European Tour, holding two course records and nine hole-in-1’s.
However, my long career has been dominated by my passion for coaching golfers of all ages and introducing beginners to the game. I’ve acquired vast experience and knowledge about all aspects of the game.
My philosophy is to coach each person uniquely, based on their age, playing experience and physical characteristics. I emphasise the key fundamentals of the game and focus on my drills and swing tips, that are proven to improve your game. After all, they were successfully tested over 100,000 hours coaching.
Over the decades I have had many pupils that went onto great success as Professionals and Amateur golfers. But I also get great satisfaction helping golfers of all ages and abilities with simple proven modifications and words of advice. Simple Solutions = Simple Remedies.
I have also made a long-term commitment to my Junior Coaching Programmes for kids aged from 3 years old to juniors aged 14+.
I am a David Leadbetter Kids Certified World Coach and follow his philosophies.
I am also a founder director of Golfstarz Ltd, a franchise business offering coaching programmes for primary schools across the U.K.
In 2000 I was the founder of the European Junior Golf Tour, with competitors including Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hatton and Aaron Rai.
The Tour has continued for 25 years with events across the UK and Europe.
In 2008 I wrote and published my fun handbook on Golf Etiquette, endorsed by Lee Westwood.
I offer the very best coaching experience for my pupils with On-Course Playing packages learning the important skills of Course Management and Risk/ Reward Strategies.
Apart from private coaching I run Group Classes for Men, Seniors, Beginners and Women’s Courses covering aspects of the game.
And finally, in March 2023 we opened our Trackman Indoor Simulator providing useful data and productive stats to golfers of all abilities.

Jason has been playing golf for nearly 30 years! Starting his amateur career at Altrincham Golf Club and turning Professional in 2021, when he began his journey to become a PGA Professional.
He has now completed his qualification and is awaiting his Graduation ceremony to become a full member of the Professional Golfers Association.
Jason currently coaches golfers of ALL abilities, including juniors, beginners, improver golfers, and all those with a passion to improve their game.
He can provide all types of lessons including Long Game, Short Game, Pitching, Chipping, Putting and has a keen interest in improving golf performance through detailed statistical analysis.
Jason plays professional golf competitions as part of the Northern PGA Region representing Hartford Golf Centre.
